Denise is known for being a genuine and compassionate clinician who truly cares about the people she is entrusted with. She has provided therapy and case management to individuals from all walks of life across the state of NY, mostly adults dually diagnosed with severe mental illness, co-morbid medical conditions and/or substance use disorders.
Before joining Pinnacle, Denise was inspired to assist incarcerated individuals wanting to change criminal thought errors in order to not re-offend. She then facilitated a Cognitive Behavioral Intervention group for incarcerated adults using the evidenced based curriculum "Thinking for A Change."
Interests/Hobbies: fitness, creative and performing arts, being one with nature, essential oils and all good vibes, foodie traveler, open mic poetry/live music.
