Sharon Matson is a bilingual registered MFT-I. Sharon believes that creating a trusting therapeutic relationship is of utmost importance to a positive treatment outcome. Using a collaborative approach, she takes the time to get to know her clients, and appreciates each client for their individuality. Although she tailors therapy to the individuality of each client, her preferred approaches to therapy are Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness, and Person-Centered Therapy.

Sharon has worked with a diverse client population in various setting such as therapy rooms, schools, and community mental health centers. She enjoys working with families, couples, individuals, and adolescents dealing with life stressors including but not limited to: communication difficulties, parenting issues, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, anger management, marital discord, pre-marital, social skills, multicultural issues, blended families, divorce and infidelity.

Sharon earned a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in her field to further her education.
Sharon strives to empower and support her clients to see the change they want in their lives.
