"I am writing to thank you for your generous assistance scholarship to the NASW conference.  I was very happy and appreciative to learn that I was selected as the recipient. By awarding me the NASW scholarship, you have lightened my financial burden and allowed me to gain an educational experience." -Brandi Shaler

"Thank you for providing me the opportunity to attend the NASW-PA Conference! I have never had the privilege of attending, and I am very excited to be apart of this exciting experience. I am looking forward to being able to network with other social workers and expand my knowledge. I am currently an MSW student and mom of three boys, and I would never have had the chance to attend this conference if it weren’t for the scholarship from Serise, Inc." -Emily S. Cotton, BSW, MSW Student

"Please allow me to extend my deepest gratitude for choosing me as a scholarship recipient for the NASW-PA conference, including lodging, taking place next week in King of Prussia, PA. I am humbled at the opportunity and very much look forward to furthering my education and knowledge of a variety of topics involving social work." -Anonymous "Thank you so much for this scholarship to be able to attend the 2016 NASW-PA & PAUSWE Conference! Words cannot describe how grateful I am. Without your generous donation, I would have never been able to afford to attend this event and would have missed out on such an amazing opportunity. At this conference, I hope to learn more, network, and possibly find an internship! A little bit about me, I am a junior at Millersville University and will graduate with a bachelor degree in social work in the spring of 2018. Post graduation, I want to attend graduate school and then find a job in the field, working with the aging population. Once again, thank you for awarding me with this scholarship! I cannot wait to attend!" -Tiffany Peruso

"My name is Lucero Rave, and I would like to thank the Serise organization for allowing me the opportunity to attend this conference and awarding me with a scholarship. I am currently a social work student at Millersville University and am excited to begin networking with current social workers." -Lucero Rave

"If it were not for this scholarship, I would not be able to attend. As the parent of 3 kids – 2 of whom have special needs – there is no money left in the family budget for my professional enrichment and networking. Thank you so much for this opportunity to attend the NASWPA/PAUSWE 2016 conference and do just that." -Maria McCulloch

"Thank you for this opportunity! I am excited and eager to attend my first NASW-PA & PAUSWE conference. I am a BSW candidate at Millersville University graduating in May 2017. To further my education after undergrad, I plan to enter a dual JD and MSW program. Education is the most powerful tool we have in the social work profession. Attending this conference will help me gain a greater understanding of the profession, while networking with experienced professionals." -Alexandria Wiest

"The flurry of work, school, and family responsibilities rarely allows resources to attend learning events such as the NASW conference, an important event for future social workers such as myself. I accept this scholarship gratefully. Thank you!" -Constance Valdez
