David Grand and Dr Mondo, “Helping White Ears Listen to Truths About Racial Injustice”
June 15,2020
Dr. David Grand, founder of Brainspotting, and Dr. Armando Gonzalez discuss racism through the lens of trauma and it's impact on the human brain.
This will be a conversation between two men with white privilege attempting to do our best at educating other white men and women of the realities of institutional racism, how we all are blinded by our own privilege and why we run, blame and defend our way out of accepting these harsh truths.

Brainspotting International Conference Update - a Hybrid Event
In other words, it will be a mix of as many people in Denver as are allowed by the most current guidelines and will also offer a virtual option for those who cannot attend in person. To allow for as many vaccinations to take place as possible, and in hopes of allowing more time for CDC guidelines to continue to move in a good direction and in response to the requests and needs of our attendees, we have made the decision to move the conference to July 2021. The new conference dates are now July 23 – 25, 2021. The Pre-Conference will take place on July 22, 2021.

In-Person Attendance

  • In-person attendance for the conference is dictated by current Colorado Covid-19 guidelines and capacity limitations. Because of the large space we have contracted at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, the guidelines currently allow 250 – 300 attendees to attend with proper social distancing and health and safety standards in place. In-person attendees will be required to abide by all national and/or international travel requirements such as negative Covid tests, quarantine, etc. We will provide updates on this information as it becomes available.

Virtual Attendance

  • The sky is the limit for the number of virtual attendees. The only requirement for attendance is your confirmed registration and a good internet connection. (It is important that Wi-Fi connectivity is strong and secure to optimize the experience.) We will take care of the rest.

Thanks Brooke Randolph...Brainspotting Indy
