Heather believes that therapy empowers an individual to work towards healing in the space of unconditional positive regard. She hopes that everyone she works with feels welcome, safe, and connected.
Heather plans to integrate the Townsend model with other models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy to form a holistic plan. Heather will work with her clients and set goals to eliminate symptomology, increase mental health functioning, and help clients authentically connect to others.
Heather lives in Raleigh with her 9-year-old son, Sam, husband Davis, and two wild boxer pups.
