Marianna is a Bilingual Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate who received her BA in both Psychology and Spanish from Wake Forest University and her MA in Counseling from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. Marianna works with children, teenagers, adults and couples, and has experience with clients from many walks of life. She is passionate about coming alongside people in the midst of their pain and helping them pursue healing and growth. Marianna believes that every person has inherent dignity and worth, regardless of background or beliefs. She strives to create a safe, empathic space for people to experience a non-judgmental presence and a place to be fully themselves. Marianna specializes in anxiety, depression, grief and loss, attachment issues, marital issues, phobias, OCD and life transitions. She works with both English and Spanish-speaking clients and people of all faith backgrounds and beliefs. She integrates faith as much or as little as requested.
Marianna lives in Durham with her husband, John, and mini goldendoodle named Lacey.
