FAQ

Q: Do you take insurance?
A: No, however, we will give you a receipt with diagnostic codes that you can give to your insurance company for reimbursement. Note- this is not a guarantee that you insurance will cover all or a portion of your visits.

Q: What do I do if I can’t afford the counseling fee?
A: We encourage people to be as resourceful as possible in being responsible for paying for their therapy. Consider asking for help from family, friends, your church, employer or a charitable organization. Can you cut out some of the extra costs from your budget during the duration of your counseling? You have to decide what is a priority to you. The investment you make in yourself today is going to bring benefits for years to come.

Q: How long will I need to be in counseling?
A: It depends on many factors. The most important being the issue you are dealing with, how motivated you are, and how compliant you are with the treatment recommendations. As you move along in your counseling treatment, your counselor may be able to give you an idea of the anticipated duration of your treatment, but there are no guarantees. We will not speed up your care to please you just as we won’t prolong your care to keep you as a client. Many clients start with weekly counseling and then go to less frequent sessions as they begin to make progress. Once you and your counselor feel that you are near completion of your treatment, a discharge plan will be discussed to help you maintain your progress as you continue your road to healing.
