Johnny is a practical, interactive, solution-focused and biblical therapist. His treatment approach is to provide support and practical interventions to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing unhealthy patterns of living. As a Christian counselor, he incorporates a blend of conventional, Christian, cognitive/behavioral, experiential, and gestalt approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. When working with couples, he utilizes a hope-focused approach. With sensitivity and compassion, he works with each client to help them build on their strengths and to find tools for coping with weaknesses.

In addition to addressing counseling issues using a cognitive-behavioral approach, I offer EMDR. Eye-movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.
