EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training™
I am currently an EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training, working toward full EMDRIA Approved Consultant status. I am able to provide up to 15 consultation hours for clinicians who are seeking EMDR Certification.
To ensure that your consultation hours count toward EMDR Certification, you must have completed an EMDRIA-Approved Basic Training in full, including:
- Part 1 and Part 2
- 10 hours of consultation
- A certificate of completion from your EMDR trainer
My Training & Approach
I completed my EMDR Basic Training with EMDR Consulting in August 2023 and became a Certified EMDR Therapist in August 2025. I continue to pursue advanced and progressive EMDR and trauma-focused trainings to support high-quality, ethical, and effective consultation.
My consultation style is:
- Trauma-informed and collaborative
- Rooted in Adaptive Information Processing (AIP)
- Focused on fidelity to the EMDR model
- Supportive of clinician confidence, attunement, and clinical growth
Consultation Focus
Consultation sessions are tailored to your needs and may include:
- Mastery of the Basic EMDR 8 Phases
- Case conceptualization through an AIP lens
- Target sequencing and treatment planning
- Processing challenges, blocks, and special populations
- Strengthening clinical confidence and adherence to the EMDR protocol
I provide consultation for EMDR therapists through Upside who are pursuing EMDRIA Certification and Consultant status. My consultation focuses on strengthening fidelity to the EMDR model, deepening case conceptualization, and supporting clinicians as they integrate EMDR therapy confidently into their clinical work. I aim to create a collaborative and supportive learning environment where therapists can refine their skills, reflect on their clinical decision-making, and grow in their professional identity as EMDR clinicians.
