CHTS trains students in hypnosis, self-hypnosis, hypnotherapy, and unique, proprietary, “Spiritual Mind Management” protocols, (SMM is now being re-branded as Positive Mind Management.) to be Certified Hypnotherapists and Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists through the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners, (A.C.H.E.). CHTS is a Postsecondary Proprietary School of Hypnotherapy in the State of Utah, registered and bonded with the Department of Commerce.

A.C.H.E Hypnotherapist Certificates are recognized and accepted throughout the United States, and in over 20 countries. Hypnotherapy is a non-licensed, certifying profession as we are considered to be non-medical. We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, but work with the conscious and subconscious minds to overcome maladaptive predominant thought beliefs (thinking errors) which generate negative emotions and subsequent inappropriate behaviors. We view emotionally induced pain and illnesses as behaviors and teach clients to deal with them as such.

He is the primary Instructor of “Certified Hypnotherapy Training School” where he teaches others what he has learned over the past 28 years of doing clinical hypnotherapy. Certified Hypnotherapy Training School is located at: 1980 West 2000 North, Suite 101, Farr West, Utah, 84404. Live Classes are taught held at the school and broadcast simultaneously on line nationwide, in a fully interactive classroom setting.

When Dennis is not instructing at CHTS he does individual sessions of clinical hypnotherapy, and groups of “Positive Mind Management” training's for various therapeutic training's for the public. Dennis is a motivational/inspirational public speaker. He does numerous Seminars and Workshops on “Positive Mind Management” for a variety of applications. The, 'Sales Mind Management Training's' and the, 'Anxiety and Stress Mind Management' programs are some of the favorites. These programs are life changing and really work! He has developed several unique applications of hypnotherapy and proprietary techniques of “Positive Mind Management Hypnotherapy” and other hypnotherapy protocols that he teaches and applies to the personal career development of himself and others.

Dennis has worked in several health and mental health clinics as a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist for many years before starting his own therapy clinic, 'Positive Mind Management Services'. This has given him vast experience in working with clients in real clinical settings. This real world experience is what he gives to his students in the training's and protocols he has developed at CHTS. He promises students that they will receive the best Clinical Hypnotherapist training's available anywhere, and be prepared to work in a variety of specialties with clients. He makes it all about competency!

Please see what the owners of these clinics have to say about Dennis and his skills in hypnotherapy with clients:

- The Advanced Health Clinic - Farmington, Utah, - Owner: Martha Bray - Nurse Practitioner

[Our staff] had a clinic retreat with Dennis Parker on hypnosis. We wanted everyone here at the clinic to know and understand what he does and how hypnosis works.

I personally am a big fan of hypnosis. I know it is very effective and very helpful. I think there are a lot of misconceptions about hypnosis, and a lot of fear. I think one of the greatest things that Dennis does is in his explanations of what it is, where it started, and what’s involved, so that people can understand . . . what they are to do and what they’re getting into.

Before this, I didn't’t understand how group hypnotherapy worked.

I have done individual hypnosis training and a lot of hypnosis with different types of people. First, I want to say that Dennis is one of the best [Hypnotherapists] that I have ever worked with, which is why we have him at the clinic. We like only the best at our clinic. But I was a little skeptical about the group thing, because I didn't’t know how that would work or if it was effective.

But the thing that is interesting about group hypnotherapy is that he does a group process to get everybody in the right mode and learning how it works. Then he will take individual people and help them, and the other people in the group are still working on their issues at the same time, utilizing the questions asked of the person he is working with at the moment.

For people in the group, it was a fantastic experience because they could work on stuff at the same time he was working with someone else. It is very effective and very good. Plus it helps people become more comfortable and see that everyone has issues, and everyone has problems. We all need help to “get real!” It’s a fantastic experience!

Dennis is very experienced, and he does great work.

Dennis,

First of all, I want you to know that I was a huge skeptic before I saw your work. I was relating hypnotherapy too much to what you see in the stage shows. At our office we provide counseling to children, adolescents, and adults, most of whom have suffered great traumas in their lives. In many cases, the mental health therapies we were using were not helping them overcome their trauma symptoms as quickly as we would like. When you offered to come to our office once a week, although I didn't’t have high expectations, I agreed.

I was so surprised at the rapid and amazing results I saw on that first day. My husband had struggled with guilt and extreme sadness due to the death of his son eight years earlier. This was the first thing he chose to work on. In less than a half-hour his sadness was replaced with a sense of peace and acceptance. The guilt was gone and he was able to think of his son without reliving the trauma of his death. This is just one example, but there are many others just as dramatic.

Thank you Dennis, for opening my eyes to a very useful and effective treatment approach. I have changed from a skeptic to a believer and am delighted with the results I have seen with the clients that you worked with as well as the ones that I am now, working with using hypnotherapy. I appreciate your hypnotherapy school and the in-depth training that you give.

Respectfully,

Patricia Sutton, CMHC Sutton Clinical Services

Solace Emotional Health

To Whom It May Concern:

Our clinic, Solace Emotional Health, provides mental health therapy for sexual addiction, marital quality, and ancillary symptoms of depression, anxiety, and trauma. Our therapeutic approach with these issues consists of 2 layers: (1) helping the patient develop critical skills to manage emotional surges (rather than being managed by them); and (2) to address the emotional and cognitive undercurrents that often undergird dysfunctional and unwanted behaviors. However, if a troubling or traumatic experience has been repressed, forgotten, or imbedded deeply into a patient’s subconscious, it can be difficult and very time consuming to identify and dissolve the dilemma.

We have found that Dennis Parker’s hypnotherapy, combined with his unique “Spiritual Mind Management” program, quickly identifies unconscious emotional undercurrents, skillfully desensitizes them, and adds an extra layer of emotional management, that provides confidence and permanence to patient’s recovery efforts.

Recently, Dennis worked with one of our patients that had been diligent in daily recovery efforts for several months, but had not been able to sustain his sexual addiction sobriety for longer than a week. In just 2 sessions of hypnotherapy, Dennis helped this patient identify a deeply buried issue, desensitized it, and instructed the patient how to better manage unwanted thoughts, memories, and emotions. To date, this patient has not had a relapse.

Another acquaintance stopped by our clinic, suffering with night terrors and unbearable cravings to relapse (after almost 2 years of sobriety). She had been given the financial approval for 8 sessions at another agency. She agreed to meet with Dennis Parker for a session or two, in an attempt to identify a specific issue to work on, thereby accelerating the effectiveness of her pre-approved therapy program. She had one session with Dennis Parker. In a follow-up phone call, she said, “the nightmares and craving are gone. They haven’t returned. At this point, I don’t think I will need any more therapy.”

Dennis Parker is skillful, effective, and extremely efficient in his hypnotherapy and “Spiritual Mind-Management” approach.

Dennis’ 60th Birthday was a very reflective day! He wrote a new life’s Mission Statement, a part of which he shares here:

“I will accomplish more good, in the last 20 years of my life, than I have in the previous 60 years combined. I will be an influence for positive change with more people, and assist more people to better their lives and fulfill their desires, dreams, and goals, by teaching and coaching them in self-hypnosis and hypnotherapy, or in truth, pondering and mediation trance utilization skills. I will assist others to overcome self-limiting beliefs, eliminate self-defeating habits, and conquer maladaptive behaviors, and do so myself as well.

I will teach these personal problem solving skills that have changed and improved my life in numerous ways, to as many as have interest and want to learn them.” W. Dennis Parker

So he started “Certified Hypnotherapy Training School” where Dennis has the opportunity to achieve such goals. He states, “I enjoy being part of the success of others. It is rewarding to be a positive influence, and create a ripple effect of good through the students, as they in turn assist their clients in positive personal improvements and goal achievements.”

“You will never understand what it is like to really free of painful memories from the past, having the heavy burdens of sensitizing emotions, and fixated negative thoughts, which have been binding you down, lifted from you through these hypnotherapy processes , until you experience it for yourself! You need to have the courage and humility to do your own work as a student or client. The rewards are freedom, happiness, calmness of spirit, and peace, in place of the past negative emotions of anger, resentment, revenge, hate, and other feelings that bind us down and hold us back from being who we really are, and are meant to be. We experience the freeing up of powerful, positive energy, within ourselves that is now newly found and available to be used in productive ways, instead of being used to control, maintain, and manage the negative forces in our life. You will enjoy more productive behaviors that will bless you for a life time of increased self-confidence and enhanced personal esteem, and appreciate new positive mental skills, having greater, ‘Peace of Mind’.'”

You will then know how to assist others in their personal problem solving, of figuring out those experiences and predominate thought behavioral producing beliefs, that have been holding them back. We can help each other through our life’s trials, temptations, and stresses; we just need to know how behaviors are created, and how to effectively challenge and change them. We will teach you in detail the inductive and deductive behavioral processes of how behaviors are created and made and how to most effectively bring about positive change in yourself and others.

He states, “We need Hypnotherapists who are willing to get in and do their own work first and learn hypnosis or pondering from the inside out. You don’t learn this work from a book; you learn it best from the results you achieve personally by experiencing it yourself, as you apply it to your own personal problems and desired changes.” This is something that he overemphasizes to every student, as he encourages them to get out of the observers chairs and take opportunities to be the student-client example during the course work.

He says “Over the years I have developed simplified ways or protocols of hypnotherapy, to accomplish behavioral modifications and assist others in personal problem solving, that anyone with reasonable intelligence and life experience can learn how to be competent, confident, and effective, with their clients as a hypnotherapist. He explains, “I want to be a voice of reason in taking the mystery out of hypnosis, and hypnotherapy!” “I believe this information should be taught to clergy, school teachers, counselors in all fields and categories, and everyone ought to understand our natural trance abilities and the benefits of knowing and utilizing our mind through what we are calling, “Positive Mind Management”.

“I am a noted Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and a behavioral modification expert, but you will come to understand my personal caricature of myself, “that I am just an old cowboy in a suit who has learned how to do a few things, but I have learned to do, what I do, well.” I have been willing to experiment with hypnotherapy processes and develop new protocols that are simple and easy to use and understand. You will achieve wonderful results as you learn to apply these processes and implement your trainings in hypnotherapy into your client sessions.

Parkers’ personal interests have to do with his family of 11 children, their spouses and significant others, (whom he also considers his children) and their current 39 grandchildren.
