Clinical Training

BZA Behavioral Health is seeking motivated and independent students to learn and grow their clinical skills within our organization.  We accept applications on-going throughout the year.  We currently accept students from

  • Master’s of Counseling Programs (seeking LPC/LCPC)
  • Master’s of Social Work Programs (seeking LSW/LCSW)
  • Doctor of Psychology (seeking PsyD)
    • Therapy
    • Advanced Diagnostic/Assessment
    • Mixed

Requirements for Application:

  • Cover letter
  • Current CV
  • Three references
  • Current transcript

You would be the ideal candidate if you have:

  • Independent worker and self-motivated
  • Excellent time management skills and an attention to detail
  • Complete coursework related to therapy (for Master’s level students) and therapy/diagnostic assessment (for Doctoral level students)
  • Previous experience is preferred, but not required

Training Hours:  Coincides with your program requirements.  BZA requires at least 16-20 hours/week


  • Provided by licensed clinicians (LCPC, LCSW, PsyD)-students will be connected to the appropriately licensed provider
  • Weekly individual supervision
  • Weekly group supervision
  • Monthly group supervision/consultation
  • Students can expect a hands-on, interactive style of supervision
  • Students will be expected to be active participants in setting goals and expectations for their training year
