Jesus came to save and to heal. Our prayer is that this website is a haven for those who are weary and burdened, who are seeking help from licensed, professional counselors who have a strong Christian faith and are commended by their local congregation. 

Our mission is to connect Christians who are seeking professional counseling, coaching, or consultation services with competent mental health clinicians who respect and understand their faith views. Our mission is to be a helpful resource to churches, ministers, and lay church leaders who want to learn more about mental health topics from a Christian perspective

WHO ARE WE

The Well Behavioral Health was founded by a group of Christian mental health clinicians.  The Well Behavioral Health welcomes all clients whether they have are Christian or not.  We treat all people from all backgrounds.  

OUR SERVICES

The Well Behavioral Health is a service that connects clients with professional Christian counselors. Clients and clinicians connect using our secure HIPAA compliant “Virtual Office”. Telehealth is an evidence-based service that can be used effectively to help individuals with a variety of mental health issues.  We also have the ability to see people in-person if that is preferred. 

OUR COUNSELORS

The Well Behavioral Health is a listing service that connects clients to Christian professional mental health counselors. The Well lists experienced counselors, psychologists, psychotherapists, marriage and family therapists, and clinical social workers who respect and support the important role that faith plays in the lives of Christians. Counselors are required to submit letters of reference from leaders of their congregation attesting to their active involvement and service in their local fellowship. Counselors are available for on-line counseling sessions.

OUR STORY

The Well Behavioral Health was formed from the great need of Christians desiring Christian counseling.  Overall, we have found that Christians desire the professional mental health training with the biblical and faith background.   We have seen this combination allows the Holy Spirit to work in the most effective way to bring transformation.  The Well began out of our and many Christian counselors inboxes being filled with requests for counseling.  Our prayer is that we can provide a platform at The Well that allows Christians easy access to professional Christian mental health providers all over the world.  Our passion and mission is to provide easy access to online counseling for the ambassadors of Christ.  The wells in the Bible have always been a place of transformation and community. We desire that same transformation and community to happen virtually at The Well.

    Director, Founder

    I have been in the 'transforming business' for over 24 years both in the full-time ministry as a minister.  I am also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been practicing for over 15 years.   Jesus was a healer.  And as Christians, we are all meant to heal and be used to heal others.  I have been married for over two decades to my best friend and have three zealous boys!  I currently lead a church in the Boston area.

    Operations Coordinator, Founder

    I have been working in behavioral health operations since 2008. I am the co-founder of Family Counseling Associates, a mental health practice with several locations in MA and NH. Before that, I worked as an accountant and controller for Hope Worldwide New England, a global benevolence and human services organization. In 2001, I earned a BS in business administration from the University of Massachusetts. In my spare time, I love to spend time with family! I also enjoy spending time with my pets, gardening, and being outdoors. My husband and I serve in the youth and family ministry of our local church.

    Marketing Director

    I am a retired teacher, with a Master’s degree in Education and Curriculum Development from the University of San Diego, and I am grateful to be on staff with The Well. I have been an active member of my church for over 38 years wearing many different hats. I have served full-time as a minister, supporting women in their spiritual growth. I have facilitated Christian conferences for over 9,000 people. I serve as a chapter director for HOPE worldwide for which I am responsible to promote outreach projects for the community. This is both a fun and rewarding experience. I have lived and traveled to so many places, which gives me a unique perspective to understand what different organizations need to feel supported. I am also the owner and operator of HELP U Sort; an organization business and it is my responsibility to manage the marketing for my business. My goal is to bring Peace to the chaos in the life of my clients. I love reading and attending book clubs, playing tennis, and spending time with my granddaughters in my spare time.  Currently, I reside in Argyle, Texas, where my husband and I co-lead a neighborhood bible study group.
