I offer individual counseling services at an hourly rate of $100. Typically, therapy sessions run for one hour--sometimes with trauma work we may decide to have longer sessions, and schedule for 1-1/2 to 2 hours. Fees are prorated based on the hourly rate, in 15-minute increments. I accept cash, debit or credit cards, and FSA/HSA cards as payment for my services. Payment is expected at the time of service, unless other arrangements are made prior to the session.
For those clients who do not have any insurance to help pay for their counseling needs, I offer a sliding scale based on household income and the number of persons that income supports. These fees are similar to those charged by other providers in the local area.
I do not submit claims for my services to insurance companies. You can submit a "superbill" (which I will provide) for reimbursement from your insurance company. Since I am an out-of-network provider, the amount of the reimbursement may be less than if you seek treatment with an in-network provider. The services covered and amounts paid by your insurance company depend solely on the agreement/contract between you and your insurance company. If you have a source of payment other than commercial health insurance, feel free to discuss it with me prior to making your appointments. I do not accept Medicaid or Medicare.
