Tatiana Morris, MA, LPC (MN), LPC Intern (OR)
I believe that everything happens in people's lives for a reason, and life events affect the whole person: body - mind - spirit. Therefore, in my approach to psychotherapy I combine Eastern philosophy and Western science.
Trained in both traditional scientific and alternative spiritual approaches to psychotherapy, I can use a variety of ways to help you address life complications you experience. My training in clinical hypnosis, tarot, handwriting analysis, and energy work all help me assist you in understanding yourself better and accessing your internal resources to make positive changes in your life.
Fluent in English, Russian, French, and Spanish, I have experience working with people coming from various cultural and spiritual backgrounds.
I particularly enjoy working with multicultural couples and families because my experience shows that the culture we are coming from significantly affects our worldview and understanding of ourselves and life in general.
Having a professional background in linguistics, I pay particular attention to how the language you use affects your worldview and your psychological well-being because the way we think and perceive the world affects the way we behave and actions we take.
In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, traveling and taking pictures of nature.
If you want to know more or see if we could be a good fit for counseling, or if you want to know more about how else I can help you achieve your goals, you are welcome to look around.

My Approach
My approach to therapy is based on Jungian psychoanalysis in combination with Integrative and Holistic approaches which look at an individual as a whole system: mind-body-spirit. Very often body speaks about psychological problems, and physical illness affects the mood. Jungian psychoanalysis looks at the processes of the psyche in a symbolic, metaphorical way allowing to see seemingly mundane things from a different perspective.
My style of therapy is direct, and I call things by their names. At the same time, I am gentle and understanding of internal processes you go through.
