GOAL: Children use the language of play to express their thoughts, feelings; and perceptions of the world around them. A trained play therapist can successfully guide children to assist them in resolving their problems. building the child’s self-esteem and motivation for learning!
GOAL - Utilizing the creative process to help people explore self-expression and, in doing so, find new ways to gain personal insight and develop new coping skills.
Here are many ways to express yourself than just through words. Creative expression includes art, drama, building, music, and movement, writing poetry or stories, using puppets and much, much more! This class is meant to appeal to your child’s senses and imagination in order to build self-esteem, emotional regulation, communication skills, boundaries and much, much more.
WHO: Children 2nd grade through 5th grade qualify!
WHO: A special invitation is extended to Middle and High School students who enjoy art!
