Everyone needs someone to talk to; age is not a factor. Children and young adults have their own unique sets of struggles. Maybe there's a struggle with school, peers, sexuality, or parent/child relationships. At times it's difficult to understand what is driving the feelings. Let me help. Providing guidance and support to this population has been my role for the past 30 years. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable and supportive environment where feelings are validated and needs are addressed. All ages are welcome, we're all young at heart :)
Over the years, I have counseled children and adults assisting them with recognizing/fostering strengths as well as learning to be self-advocates. I enjoy utilizing both traditional and nontraditional counseling methods during sessions depending on the age and need of the client. Sometimes we need to think outside of the box. We'll figure it out together.
