Nicholas is a Licensed Social Worker who is receiving supervision towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He attended Kutztown University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, and then returned to obtain a Masters of Social Work.
Nicholas practices from a humanistic client-centered perspective, utilizing modalities such as play therapy, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solutions-focused approach to develop a collaborative therapeutic relationship geared toward change and growth.
Nicholas’ main goal is to empower the people he works with to write their own stories in a way that is meaningful to them, even if that means needing some help along the way. He believes that as humans we are interdependent and need each other’s support, but that we need the right support to get where we are trying to go.
Nicholas has a passion for working with individual who identify as neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, and/or disabled. He has experience working with individuals of all ages looking to address struggles related to anxiety, ADHD, ASD, poor self-esteem, emotional and verbal abuse, and difficult life-transitions, alongside assisting families and groups with these needs.
Nicholas is working towards strengthening his skills in play therapy and obtaining training and certification in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
