Gianna is a graduate student intern from Kutztown University. Gianna graduated from Kutztown University in May 2023 with her bachelors in social work. Currently, she is in the social work master’s program specializing in Behavioral Health and she is expected to graduate in Spring 2025. Then, Gianna will work towards getting her clinical license in social work. Gianna has experience working with children and adolescents in an intensive behavioral health program and being a mental health advocate through her published book called “to the words i never said”.
Gianna feels comfortable working with those that have anxiety, depression, and need guidance going through difficult times. She will continue to build her knowledge around ADHD, PTSD, Autism, and more throughout her internship. Gianna has a passion for using a strength-based approach, helping individuals achieve their professional and personal life goals, and work through difficult situations. She is a great listener and very empathic. Gianna is a member of the National Association of Social Workers. She strives to help people grow and succeed in their lives in any way. Gianna’s hobbies include being in nature, writing and reading, doing any type of art, and being active.
Gianna will be under the supervision at Mind Matters. Gianna’s goal is to become a clinical social worker specializing in anxiety, depression, and trauma.
