Justin has worked in many areas of counseling for over the past twenty years including in residential treatment, community counseling, and private practice. Justin also has a vast amount of experience working in public education as a certified school counselor and brings that wealth of knowledge in working with his adolescent and teen population. Justin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from West Chester University and a Masters of Counseling degree from Messiah University.
Justin employs various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Psycho-Educational Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness. Justin focuses on helping clients navigate and overcome challenges related to depression, anxiety, substance use, and grief/loss/trauma. His approach is holistic, addressing not only the immediate symptoms but also the underlying issues that can often contribute to clients' struggles. Justin also has extensive experience guiding adults through major life transitions, recognizing the impact these changes can have on mental well-being and overall health. As a former college athlete Justin also has a great deal of experience working with athletes of all ages struggling with performance issues and confidence.
Outside of work Justin’s passions include spending time outdoors as well as health and wellness. Justin is the co-author of the book “Trauma-Sensitive School Leadership” (2022).
